The project was born in 2011 promoted by the International Good Shepherd Foundation - ONLUS with funds from the OAK Foundation and MISEANCARA.

Objective: to implement the quality of the handmade products produced in the centers managed by the Good Shepherd Sisters in Thailand, Kenya and the Philippines to create the foundations of a sustainable economy.

The project was carried out through a training activity - design training seminars - and product development. The project involved hundreds of women living and working who live and work in poor rural areas and urban slums. The key to strengthening the creative abilities of these women has been to design dynamic and participatory training design seminars also combining the skills of professional designers
